Zuvuya -- "Radio Reverb" Written by Matt Eddy ~From: dive@ihug.co.nz (Aaron Allcock) Zuvuya -- "Radio Reverb" I’ve worked out the basics so far, this is what’s being played during the verse, I haven’t worked out the intro yet. During the verse it’s just a basic reggae rhythm, if you don’t know how to do it just listen to the album and you’ll get the idea. During the chorus all you need to do is play an e chord on the 7th threat and add lot’s of funky effects, or save your-self the trouble and just go crazy with the wah. Verse: e:|----x----x----7----x--------------------| B:|----x----x----8----x--------------------| G:|----x----x----9----x--------------------| D:|----x----x----9----x--------------------| A:|----x----x----7----x--------------------| E:|----x----x----x----x--------------------| d u d u Verse 1. They strike fear I strike back They chew the fat like a Big Mac Psychedelic social observations What could save this planet from complete annihilation They’re spinning shit on all stations They cause their own economic constipation Gidday mate it’s time to stray from the herd Will you be ready when I give the word Chorus. You’ve gotta beat the system to save your soul Quit your job and go on the dole (x2) Verse 2. We’re going to dance on the heads of ignorance Papatuanuku rise while the bullshit sinks Papatuanuku rise while the bullshit sinks The decision was not wise to British colonise But the future holds the blade to cut us free Evil will not have to wait in line when it come Karma time Chorus. Verse 3. The Mother Earth and The Father Sky Mankind hell bent to strip Her dry You better give back a bit more than you’re taking Or you may cause this earth to start quaking Any comments, send to me at dive@ihug.co.nz Thanks Aaron Allcock
